George Nakashima is best known for his unique pieces of furniture, which are prized for their respect for the natural forms of the tree and the inherent grain of the wood. The natural, low-sheen finish and “live” grain patterns epitomize George Nakashima and his craft.

Originally designed for Knoll in the late 1940’s, the Splay-leg Table was reintroduced into our product line. KnollStudio logo and designer’s signature stamped under table top.

The Splay-Leg Tray is standard in Douglas Fir and the edge details are available in Brazilian Santos or Wenge.

Construction
Table tops are veneered with reverse slip-matched cathedral pattern, matching solid wood edge.
Table legs, apron and edge detail are solid American Walnut.
Mortise and tenon joints are connected with solid brass hardware.
Table comes with nylon glides

Table is available with Hickory or American Walnut top and American Walnut legs, apron and edge detail.
Tray is available with Douglas Fir top and Brazilian Santos or Wenge edge detail
